Recognition was given to the Hill Country subregion for leading the way with new Texas subregion mascots and logos (Hill Country Mavericks). North Texas has a new mascot, Wranglers, with a logo expected to be completed by the end of February.
Each Texas subregion has been challenged to have a Spring Subregion StrenFest. The purpose, besides fellowship, is to work on making the Texas StrenFest a bigger and better event by practicing techniques.
Texas StrenFest 2024 will be hosted by the Gulf Coast subregion. Dates/Location is projected to be shared at the end of February.
The revamped TSL Texas website was previewed to the members in attendance. The group shared feedback, and the target republishing date is early February.
The regional guides also ask that Texas members verify they are assigned to their respective subregions. @bhart, @bhartman007, and @thelonestarveteran are working on a directory for Texas members to help with communication.
The Texas region also shared their associated social media accounts and have put out the call for photos and videos of events and activities.
